1. What is the WAON POINT Program? What are the benefits of participating in the WAON POINT Program?

The WAON POINT Program (also referred to as the “Program”) is a joint sale promotion program implemented and operated by ACSTV and Participating Partners, including AEON Vietnam.

The program is for AEON Vietnam's loyal customers and loyal customers of participating Partners.

When participating in the Program, members register for a WAON POINT Program’s member account to record WAON Points when purchasing goods/services at AEON Vietnam's Shopping Locations.

In addition, Members can enjoy shopping services and incentives such as:

  • Accumulate WAON points: For each valid shopping transaction, members will obtain 01 WAON Point for each VND 10,000.
  • Redeem WAON Points into WAON Vouchers according to the Program's regulations.
  • WAON Voucher is valid for payment when members purchase goods or use services at AEON Vietnam Shopping Locations and Participating Partners according to the Program's regulations.
  • Receive promotional information via SMS or notifications on Mobile Application anytime, anywhere.

Privilege to participate in attractive incentive programs exclusively for WAON Members.

2. Does customer pay fee to join the Program?

Registering for WAON POINT program membership is completely free.

The WAON POINT program is a completely free loyalty program, without any initiation, usage fees, or any unusual charges.

3. After successful registration, when will new Members start earning points?

 Members can accumulate WAON Points immediately after successfully registering for Member’s Accounts by making purchases of goods or using services at AEON Vietnam’s Shopping Stores and Participating Partners’ Shopping Stores according to the Program's Policies and Terms & Conditions.

4. Conditions for registering a WAON POINT Program’s member account

Customers install and register a WAON POINT Program’s member account directly from the AEON Vietnam Mobile Application or the Mobile Applications of Participating Partners.

Each Customer shall only register one (01) Member’s account using one (01) mobile phone number and one (01) Personal Identification Document.

Customers registering for the member’s account must meet the following requirements:

  • Individuals are at least from 16 years old, have civil legal capacity and civil act capacity to independently establish and perform civil transactions, except for transactions that require legal representative’s consent at the time of registration (if applicable) by legal regulations.
  • Have valid and effective Personal Identification Documents in accordance with Vietnamese law.
    • In case the customer is a Vietnamese citizen, valid personal identification documents are the National Identity Card or the Citizen Identification Card.
    • In case the customer is a foreigner, valid personal identification documents are passport

Agree to and comply with the provisions of the Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Personal Data Protection Policy of the Program.

5. Can I change my information in Member’s Account already registered with the Program?

Members can update information on AEON Vietnam’s Mobile Application, except for following registered details: Phone number, Full name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Type and Number of Personal Identification Document. 6. Can I terminate my WAON POINT program Member’s Account?

7. How is the WAON Point’s validity?

Accumulated WAON Points are valid for up to two (02) years based on the date on which WAON Points are originally added to Member’s Accounts after the registration. The original month of accumulating WAON Points for the first time is considered reference month of accumulating WAON Points.

From the second year onwards, WAON Point expiration date will fall on the last day of reference month.

8. Regulations of WAON Points and WAON Voucher?
  • WAON Points are NOT money, cash, or any kind of currency, and are not exchangeable for money. WAON Points are only redeemable for WAON Vouchers, and cannot be transferred, purchased, sold, or exchanged for cash in any way.
  • Within a maximum of last six (06) months, Members can check their WAON Points accumulation history.
  • There are six (06) types of WAON Vouchers with denominations of VND 10,000, VND 30,000, VND 50,000, VND 100,000, VND 150,000 and VND 300,000 which are converted from 100, 300, 500, 1,000, 1,500 and 3,000 WAON Points.
  • Members can use WAON Vouchers to pay for Purchase Transactions by presenting the WAON Voucher codes to the cashier. The detailed applicable terms and conditions, and expiry date or valid period shall be displayed on that WAON Voucher.
  • WAON Vouchers cannot be used for the purpose of setting off any other fees (e.g. delivery or logistic fees), charges, taxes, or expenses related to the Purchase Transactions.
  • Members can only use WAON vouchers owned by their own Member Account. In case of failed owner verification, WAON vouchers will not be applied.
  • If WAON Points accumulated from any transactions have already been redeemed into WAON Vouchers, request to return such WAON Vouchers to take back WAON Points will not be accepted.
  • WAON Voucher has use validity within 6 months from its conversion from WAON Points but not later than October 6th, 2026.
9. What is WAON Point accumulation mechanism?

Member can accumulate WAON Points by purchasing goods/services at AEON Vietnam’s Shopping Stores and Participating Partners. Based on total payment value of completed, non-cancelled, non-returnable and non-refundable transactions in VND by Members, WAON Points are calculated as follows:

  • For every VND 10,000 paid for valid purchase, except for goods/services not eligible for promotion under the law, Members receive one (01) WAON Point.
  • WAON Points will be credited within 12 hours after the customer completes the purchase.
  • In case of applying other promotions and/or using WAON Voucher, points will be calculated on the total amount that Member has to pay after deducting total value of WAON Voucher and/or other applicable promotions.
10. Can bills with tens of thousands less than VND 10,000 be combined to accumulate WAON Points?

Bills with tens of thousands less than VND 10,000 are not combined to accumulate WAON Points.

11. Can I accumulated WAON Point after completing the Purchase Transaction?

Members can only earn WAON Points when making purchases and cannot earn WAON Points after completing the purchase.

12. In what cases will my accumulated WAON Points be revoked?
  • If Member’s requests and are approved to return goods/unused services of AEON Vietnam and WAON Points have been accumulated for the Shopping Transaction for these goods/services, the accumulated WAON Points will be returned to the Program corresponding to the accumulated points based on the total amount of goods/services returned in the Shopping Transaction according to AEON Vietnam's return and refund policy.
  • WAON Points that have been incorrectly or invalidly accumulated into the WAON Member Account according to the Program's regulations will be revoked from the WAON Member Point Account.
  • ACSTV reserves the right to update and/or amend such information from time to time to correct any errors or to revoke any WAON Points provided, including but not limited to cases where ACSTV reasonably deems that a Member's Purchase Transaction is suspicious, illegal or involves any form of crime or the transaction uses WAON Points/WAON Vouchers that the Member obtained through dishonest or fraudulent means/methods.
13. What is WAON Voucher?
  • Members can use accumulated WAON Points to exchange for WAON Vouchers according to Program’s regulations.
  • WAON Vouchers are updated in AEON Vietnam’s Mobile Application. Members can use these WAON Vouchers for settlement of Member’s Purchase Transactions at AEON Vietnam’s Shopping Stores and Participating Partners’ Shopping Stores.
14. How long is the waiting time for using successfully converted WAON Vouchers?

After 10 minutes from successful conversion, the converted WAON Vouchers can be used.

The detailed applicable terms and conditions, and expiry date or the valid period of each WAON Voucher shall be displayed on that WAON Voucher.

WAON Voucher has use validity within 6 months from its conversion from WAON Points but not later than October 6th, 2026.

15. Can I use multiple WAON Vouchers for one (01) order/Purchase Transaction?

Members can use more than one (1) WAON Voucher for one (01) order/Purchase Transaction. Member shall provide Cashier with valid WAON Vouchers that Member want to use for scanning each WAON Voucher’s code.

16. Can I exchange WAON Voucher for cash?
  • WAON Voucher cannot be transferred, purchased, sold, or exchanged for cash in any way.
  • WAON Voucher cannot be used for setting off any other fees (e.g. delivery or logistic fees), charges, taxes, or expenses related to the Purchase Transactions.
  • WAON Voucher cannot be redeemed for certain products which are prohibited or restricted by law, or AEON Vietnam’s policies such as tobacco, alcohol, breast milk substitutes and other goods/services prohibited from promotion by law.
  • WAON Voucher is accepted by product policy at each Participating Partner.
17. How many WAON Vouchers are there?

There are Six (06) types of WAON Vouchers are available for conversion from WAON Points, including:

  • 100 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 10,000 VND
  • 300 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 30,000 VND
  • 500 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 50,000 VND
  • 1,000 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 100,000 VND
  • 1,500 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 150,000 VND
  • 3,000 WAON Points will be exchangeable for a WAON Voucher worth 300,000 VND
18. Can I request for return of WAON Points from already redeemed WAON Voucher from WAON Points?

If WAON Points accumulated from any transactions have already been redeemed into WAON Vouchers and Member requests for return of WAON Voucher to recall the WAON Points, the request shall not be accepted.

19. When do my WAON Vouchers expire?

WAON Voucher has use validity within 6 months from its conversion from WAON Points but not later than October 6th, 2026.

20. When my WAON Vouchers expired, can I exchange the expired vouchers to get new ones?

In case of WAON Voucher expiry (due to Member’s subjective and personal reasons), ACSTV has no responsibility to handle the expired Voucher and exchange those expired vouchers into new valid vouchers.

21. What shall Member do in case of mobile phone’s loss?

When losing mobile phone with the Program-linked Mobile Application installed, Members should immediately report the incident to ACSTV or call hotline: 1900 5150 (ext: 2) for support in temporarily locking the member’s accounts from mobile application accounts to avoid mis-use of WAON Points and WAON Vouchers by others.

22. In what situation is WAON POINT program membership cancelled?

ACSTV has the right to freeze/terminate the membership and cancel all Member’s accumulated WAON Points upon discovering any violation of that Member of the Program’s Policy, Terms & Conditions.

At any time after members registered their member’s accounts, members may terminate their participation in the Program by contacting the support channels.

The competent state agency requests cancellation for investigation purposes, and/or other purposes as requested by the competent authority.
